Safe Manning Activation & Set Up

Click the Modules icon and select Safe Manning.

Go to Administration menu and select Safe Manning Activation.

Locate the vessel from the list and click Enable.

Confirm by clicking Yes.

You can set requirements for three different capacities:

• Minimum Safe Manning
• Caribbean Cruising
• US Manning

Define the Safe Manning capacities according to your documents, select Add Safe Manning Capacities.

Check the box for required capacities. Enter the required number needed (as per certification).

Define whether a capacity can be filled by another role using the Dual Role option.

• Example: A GMDSS Operator can also serve as a Chief Engineer.

Note: Only mark the GMDSS Operator or Engineering role as dual, not the other capacities.

Once done, click Submit.
