Click on the Modules menu and select Crew Planner.
In the top blue ribbon, click on Administration, then select Crew Planner Activation.
Click the Activate button next to the vessel you wish to activate.
Monthly Leave Type
- Used when a crew member earns 1 day of leave per month of service.
- Accrual happens monthly and is tracked as part of the leave balance.
Annual Leave Type
Applies to crew members with Annual Leave Type enabled.
Leave Accrual During Medical Leave
Leave Carry Over
- Choose whether unused leave carries over to the next year or resets to zero.
- This setting can be overridden per crew member.
Leave Unused Threshold
Crew members who meet/exceed the threshold will be flagged in the Crew Planner Statistic Report under the Leave Unused column.
Leave Unused Display
The leave balance is rounded and shown with two digits or 5 digits after the decimal point.
After choosing the appropriate activation settings, click Submit to proceed and save your configuration.
Define Crew Member Details
For each active crew member on the vessel, you’ll need to complete the following fields:
Leave Type
- Choose between: Annual, Monthly, or Rotation.
Leave Amount
- If Rotation type: Enter the number of working days required to earn 1 day of leave.
Employment Anniversary
- Usually, the contract start date or January 1st.
- This defines when unused leave resets.
Initial Leave Accrued
- Enter the leave amount accrued as of the Crew Planner activation date.
Date Employed
- The official employment start date of the crew member, typically based on their contract.
Start Date
- The date from which the Crew Planner begins tracking leave for this crew member.
Allocated Flights
- Number of flight entitlements per year.
If you haven’t finished entering all information:
Click Submit but do not activate to save your progress.
Once all required fields are completed for every crew member, click Activate to finalize the setup.
