Reset password for Vessel Users
From the homepage, click on the administration menu and select users
The users that are active will be shown in the user folder. Find the user that you wish to reset the password.
Click on (…) and click reset password; select the way you want to reset the password; A system-generated password, or you may specify a password for them.
After resetting the password, they will receive an email notification containing their password.
Reset password for Crew User
Click on the module and click on the crew.
From the active crew folder, select the crew member, click on (…), and select reset password.
Select the way you want to reset the password; A system-generated password or you may specify a password for them. When the user logs in using the system-generated password, the system will require them to change their password immediately
If you want to reset the password for a crew member and do not see the reset password option, check if the crew member is allowed to manage their own record. If not, Edit the crew profile, check the "allow manage own record" and ensure they have a valid email and then select submit.
They will receive a welcome email containing their username and password to the system.
