Click on the Modules menu and select Documents.
Click on Administration and select Crew Mandatory Documents.
Click the View icon next to a document.
Go to the Triggers and Automations tab, then click New Trigger or New Automation.
Choose from the following trigger types:
- Document instance is created or updated – Alert when a document is created or updated.
- New comment is entered – Notifies when a new comment is added to a document.
- Alert is acknowledged – Notifies when a document alert is acknowledged by another user.
- Document needs verification – Notifies when a document is uploaded and needs verification.
- Document is verified – Notifies when a document is successfully verified.
- New comment for missing mandatory document is entered – Notifies when a comment is added regarding a missing document.
Choose from the following automation types:
- Crew mandatory document is missing – Alerts when a required document is missing.
- Hours after the time specified in – Takes action hours after a document is modified or reaches a status.
- Days after the date specified in – Takes action days after a document is created/modified/status changed.
- Days before the date specified in – Takes action before document expiry or a critical deadline.
- Days after the crew’s employment date & CMD is missing – Notifies when a document is still missing a set number of days after hire date.
When setting up a trigger or automation, you will have the option to add an action by sending an alert or an email.
You’ll also have the option to customize the message and select the recipient who will receive the alert or email.
