Vessels dedicated PC is not allowing the LogMein application to remain active

Effective Jan 1 2019 , MMV will no longer support vessels offline installation where the Vessels Computer is not Permanently allowing the LogMeIn Client to remain open allowing MMV technician to access to the PC

Action Required:

Vessels or Management Company must contact the Vessels IT Technician to ensure the PC or VM is permanently connected to the Vessels LAN and Internet Gateway and the LogMeIn Client is active allowing access by a MMV authorized technician

For this vessels that need to download the LogMeIn Client please see below:

This client will allow MMV to remotely access the server to install the files. Log Me In is available to download here:

http://download.managemyvessel.com/LogMeIn.msi

Once downloaded, follow these steps to install the program:

1. double click the installer to open
2. Check “I have read and agree to the terms of the License Agreement” and click Next.
3. Click Next one more time.
4. Leave the selection to “Typical (recommended)” and click Next.
5. Enter the name of the vessel in the Description (e.g.: M/Y Fantastic) and click Next.
6. Click Next one more time.
7. Click Finish when done.

You will also need to contact Manage My Vessel and provide the login details for the server operating system. The login details must be for a user with Administrator level access. 

Their will be no cost from MMV unless our Technicians are required to assist the Vessels IT Technician which should not be required.
