Transfer of Vessel from one Fleet Portal to Another

At times a vessel may change Management Companies that are also using the MMV platform.

MMV can transfer the Vessel from one Management Companies platform to another Management Company provided both companies are using MMV.

This usually saves a substantial amount of time as almost all data that is not proprietary to the Management Company can be transferred.

Data that cannot be transferred usually consists of:

• Proprietary Safety Management Manuals from the Management Company
• Proprietary electronic forms from the Management Company
• Sensitive Crew and user information (this is due to GDPR  and Privacy laws )

Cost for this service is typically $ 514.50. However in some instances additional work needs to be performed outside of the scope of a typical transfer. In this case additional billing of $ 250.00 per hour will occur.

Important for Incoming Management Company: Please don’t create the vessel in the system. We’ll handle this on the backend during the transfer process. Since the transfer cannot be completed to an account that already exists, we need to manage this internally to ensure everything moves over correctly.
