- The crew planner module no longer differentiates between Leave Request and Change Crew Status Request. Instead, the crew planner use a new entity called “Status Change”. When creating a new Status Change, it will default with one date and one crew status which is useful for changing the crew status on a specific date (which is essentially the old Change Crew Status Request). From here, the user can add one or more status changes (which is essentially the old Leave Request).
- All crew status whether onboard or not onboard can be selected for any date in the status change. However, the inactive status is only available for the last date in the status change.
- Because of the entity change, all of the existing crew planner triggers and automation will be removed upon release. The following are the crew planner triggers and automation that can be created:
- Trigger when status change is created/updated
- Trigger when status change needs verification
- Trigger when status change is verified
- Trigger when future rotational status change cannot be created
- Trigger when new comment for status change is entered
- Automation X day(s) before the Crew Planner Anniversary for the crew. The email message for this automation can contain “Leave Unused” and “Leave to be carried over” to notify the administrators to verify.
- Automation X day(s) after the Crew Planner Anniversary for the crew. The email message for this automation can contain “Leave Carried Over” to notify the administrators to verify.
- Automation X day(s) before status change start date
- Automation X day(s) before status change end date
- Automation when leave unused for the crew meets or exceeds X many days.
- A new permission for crew planner administrator to approve status change. If the status change is edited by the administrator who does not have an approve permission, the status change will stay in Pending state. The administrator who does not have an approve permission, cannot edit an approved status change that falls within the current date or in the past.
- A new “Monthly” Leave Type in addition to the existing “Rotational”, “Annual” and “Rotational without accruing leave” leave types.
- A few enhancements in the crew planner calendar view:
- Hovering over the cell will now show the “Month Date – Status”.
- The status change is highlighted by a line at the top and a line at bottom.
- Clicking the status change will show a popup to quickly edit the dates and the status.
- The calendar view can now be filtered to show data from multiple sub accounts. IMPORTANT NOTE: selecting too many sub accounts and crew positions at once may result in a very large page that takes a long time to render in your browser. Please try to display a few sub accounts or crew position for faster display.
- The new “3 Months” view.
- The “1 Month” view has vertical lines to delineate each date in the view.
- The crew anniversary date marker was removed from the calendar view to make the view cleaner.
- The crew planner administrator can unarchived the archived crew planner data.
- The ability to specify an End Date when the last status in the status change is an inactive status. Therefore, the “Date Ended” specified in the crew profile does not have to be the same as the last date in the status change.
- When the crew is inactive, the administrator can now edit the “Date Ended” in the Employment Information tab.
- When the status change spans multiple years and the Use Flight is not zero, the administrator can specify how many flights are used for each year.
- When clicking an attachment in PDF format, the PDF document will be shown in a popup instead of being downloaded. The user can choose to download the attachment by clicking the “Download” button in the popup.
- The travel and quarantine status can now be configured in the “Administration > Crew Employment Status” page. Therefore, the administrator can make any of those status not visible if necessary.
- All of the country fields in the crew, guest and contact profiles were converted from a text box to a dropdown. IMPORTANT NOTE: we ran a process to clean up the values in all country fields. But there might be values that do not match with any available options in the dropdown and resulting in a blank selection. Please contact us if you think any of the crew, guest or contact profiles are missing any data after this release.
- The following fields were added or modified in the vessel profile:
- “Load Line Length” field in the Vessel Information tab.
- The “Gross Tonnage” and “Net Tonnage” fields were moved from the “Additional Info” tab to the “Vessel Information” tab.
- A new “Phone Numbers” tab was added and it contains the following fields: “Sat Phone”, “GSM 1”, “GSM 2”, “VOIP 1”, “VOIP 2” and “Fleet”.
- The following fields were added to the “Management” tab: “Operational Management Manager”, “Technical Management Manager”, “Crew Management Manager”, “Finance/Accounting Manager”, “Safety Management Manager”, “Safety Management DPA”, “Security Management Manager” and “Security Management CSO”.

Bug Fixes
- Fixed the bug where the Publish button did not work after editing an office document in a form with external template.
- The “Onboard” column is now hidden in the “Hours of Rest” module if the crew planner is enabled for the sub account. It’s because the hours of rest record cannot be marked as not onboard for the entire month when the crew planner was enabled for the sub account.
- Fixed the bug where the “Accessible accounts” settings for the user role were not copied when copying account setting from another sub account.
- Fixed the bug where the Occasional Worker checkbox was hidden when the crew onboarding was enabled in the sub account.
