This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Manage My Vessel (MMV) collects when you use our service, mobile application, or this support site — and how we use and protect it.
This policy is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable data protection laws.
Who we are
Vessel Management LLC, a Florida limited liability company, doing business as Manage My Vessel (MMV), operates the Service, the mobile applications, and this support site.
What personal information we collect
- Account information — the name, email address, role, and organization affiliation of each user who registers.
- Crew and operational data — provided by our Customers (management companies, vessel owners) about vessels, crew, and operations. MMV processes this data on behalf of the Customer under the Data Processing Addendum.
- Support content — messages, screenshots, and metadata you send to our support team via ticket, email, or the Ask AI feature on this support site.
- Usage data — page views, feature interactions, and technical diagnostics for service quality and performance.

How we use personal information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service as described in the Subscription Services Agreement.
- To respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service.
- To meet legal, tax, accounting, and audit obligations.
- To protect the security of the Service and detect fraud or abuse.
How we share personal information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only:
- With sub-processors listed in Appendix 1 of the Data Processing Addendum, under written agreements that impose the same protection obligations we accept.
- With payment processors — we do not store payment card data; all payment card processing is handled by a PCI-compliant third party.
- When required by law, court order, or valid supervisory-authority request.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, request deletion, restrict processing, object to processing, and receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact your management company's Super User or email support@managemyvessel.com.

Data retention
We retain customer data during the term of the subscription and for a limited period afterwards. See Data Retention & Deletion for the specific windows.
International transfers
MMV is based in the United States and hosts data in the United States. When personal data of EU, UK, or Swiss residents is transferred to us, we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses set out in the Data Processing Addendum.
