Offline Access for a Vessel

Belarc Report Requirements

Fleet account access: Offline access is coordinated between the vessel's Fleet administrator (yacht management company) and MMV support. The installation itself is performed remotely by MMV once the vessel's server meets the minimum requirements. Offline access is a Fleet-level feature — Sub-Account, Crew, and Payroll users do not manage it.

A Belarc Report must be generated on the dedicated PC or server that will host the ManageMyVessel Offline Client. MMV uses this report to verify the hardware meets our minimum requirements before we schedule the install.

To generate the report

  1. Download and run Belarc Advisor on the PC or server where the offline client will be installed:
  2. Once installed, Belarc Advisor will automatically generate a system report and open it in your web browser.
  3. Save the report as a PDF (or Print to PDF).
  4. Email the PDF to support@managemyvessel.com.

The Belarc Report must be provided to MMV before the offline installation can proceed. If the hardware shown in the report does not meet MMV's minimum system requirements, installation files will not be provided until the server has been upgraded to meet the required specifications.

Common questions

Do we need to install Belarc Advisor permanently?

No. Belarc Advisor is only used to generate the initial hardware report. Once you've sent us the PDF, you can uninstall it.

What if the Belarc report shows we're below spec?

MMV won't provide install files until the server is upgraded to meet minimum requirements. See the System & IT Requirements article for the full spec.
