- From the fleet homepage, click the Modules menu and select Payroll.
- Click on Administration and select Triggers and Automations
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
- Select New Trigger or New Automation.
FOR TRIGGER:
There are three types you can set up.
- Payroll is created/updated --- Runs the trigger when a payroll is created or an existing payroll is updated.
- Payroll status has changed --- Runs the trigger when the payroll status changes.
- New comment is entered --- Runs the trigger when a new comment is added.
- Held Payment is created/updated --- Runs the trigger when a held payment is created or updated.
- Held Payment status has changed --- Runs the trigger when the status of a held payment change.
- Advanced Payment is created/updated --- Runs the trigger when an advance payment is created or updated.
FOR AUTOMATION:
There are four types of automations you can create.
- Day(s) before payroll end date --- Runs the automation a specified number of days before the payroll end date.
- Day(s) after submitted for approval --- Runs the automation a specified number of days after the payroll is submitted for approval.
- Day(s) after the date specified in --- Runs the automation a specified number of days after a selected date.
- Day(s) after the start of the month --- Runs the automation a specified number of days after the beginning of the month.
When creating triggers and automations, you can configure the following settings:
- Enabled --- Enables or disables the automation.
- Conditions --- Defines the additional criteria that must be met before the automation runs.
- Accounts --- Specifies the accounts to which the automation applies and where the alerts will be generated.
You can also add an action to send notifications related to the triggers and automations that have been configured.
- Click Add Action, then choose either Send Email or Create Alert
- Select the specific users or user roles who should receive the alerts or email notifications.
