Create Crew Planner Alerts

Permission-based access: What you can see and do in MMV depends on how your management company has set up your account. If a feature described here isn't visible in your account, ask your admin.

  1. From the fleet homepage, click on the Modules menu and select Crew Planner.
  2. Click on Administration and select Triggers and Automations
  3. Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
  4. Select New Trigger or New Automation.

FOR TRIGGER:

There are five types you can set up.

  • Status change is created/updated - Alerts users when a crew status change is added or modified.
  • Status change needs verification - Notifies authorized users when a status change needs to be reviewed and verified.
  • Status change is verified - Alerts users when a status change has been successfully verified.
  • Future rotational status change cannot be created -- Alerts users when a new future status conflicts with an existing rotational status.
  • New comment for status change is entered - Notifies users when a new comment is added to a crew status change.

Select which Accounts the trigger applies to, then click Submit to save.

FOR AUTOMATION:

There are five types of automations you can create.

  • Days Before Crew Anniversary
  • Days After Crew Anniversary
  • Days Before Status Change Start Date
  • Days Before Status Change End Date
  • Leave Unused Alert

Select which Accounts the trigger applies to, then click Submit to save.

You can also add an action to send notifications related to the triggers and automations that have been configured.

Click Add Action, then choose either Create Alert or Send Email, and select the specific users or user roles who should receive the notification.
