Create User Role Profile

Permission-based access: What you can see and do in MMV depends on your assigned permissions. If a feature described here isn't visible in your account, ask your Administrator.

A user role profile is a template that contains permissions and settings.

You can assign multiple user roles to a profile, allowing them to share the same settings while having different usernames.

Create User Role Profile

  1. On the blue ribbon, select Administration then User Role Profiles.
  1. In the top right corner, click the three dots and select New Profile.
  1. Enter a title for the user role profile.

Tick the checkbox if you want the profile to have full permissions.

Once done, click Submit.

Duplicating User Role Profile

This creates a new user role profile based on an existing profile, including its configured settings and permissions.

  1. Go to the Properties tab.
  2. Click the three dots and select Create Duplicate.

Copy Settings from another User Role:

This allows you to copy the permissions and settings from an existing user role profile and apply them to another user role profile.

  1. Go to the Properties tab.
  2. Click the three dots and select Copy Settings from another User Role.
