- The crew, guest and user data is now encrypted in the database in compliant with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
For this release we have focussed solely on implementing GDPR compliant processes and procedures. A lot of this work does not affect the GUI or add any new features, but does ensure that personal data is secure.
The main feature we have added is the ability to add a Privacy and Data Consent Policy to your accounts, which all users have to agree to. This will allow you to show compliance with GDPR as efficiently as possible as the system will track all consents and save them in the crew members profile.
In addition you will be able to turn on Strong passwords for any necessary user roles. This will require the user to use a complicated password and to change the password periodically. This is particularly useful for users with access to crew data.
